Way back when I was a child, a long time ago South of Miami, we had a little white muscovy duck, named "Duckie Duddle"...

The children's song at the time was called the same name and it went:
"Little Duckie Duddle, went wading in a puddle, went wading in a puddle one day. Says he it doesn't matter, how much I splash and splatter, I'm only a duckie after all!"

Well, Duckie Duddle wound up a "guard duck" and wouldn't let anyone on the property, so we had permission to add him to the population at the Crandon Park Zoo on Key Biscayne. We went to visit him several times and found him very happy with a group of his kind. He even answered to his name and came to us when called!
