I had wondered how a fellow poodle breeder had done her special effects on her puppy pictures. One day I asked her about her photo program and she said she had ULead Photo Impact and she loved the effects and frames, but did not know how the use anything else. I didn't act on that lead for another six months! When I finally did get the Photo Impact program I went online and found 10 SE and to make a long story short, that was not correct, it is a stripped down version. In the meantime I had joined Dia's PINT lessons and could not do them because I had the wrong program and they were too advanced for a newbie like me. I did find the PIRC-BW online doing a search and found they took newbies and had mentors!!! Well, that convinced me to sign up, but I just knew I would NEVER be able to pass the questioneer. This was last year during the July vacation break. I am sure I lied on some of those questions, because I did not have alot of experience on the computer.
And then the NEW DAWNING, I had my new Photo Impact 11 and I got the letter from a mentor known as TEXASKATE! Well, I didn't know what to think of someone named that, I thought she was a rough and tumble ranch hand with that name. I found out very different. If it weren't for her, I would not be here and the VERY PROUD owner of a
PIRC-BW graduation certificate.....only one of about 500 persons to graduate
Beginners Workshop
I am so honored to be part of this program.
MaryLou, I always wanted to know what those funny little symbols were in the source codes. I was told MaryLou had the patience I needed and so far she hasn't gotten out that whip! I am starting to understand a little about the coding. I was hoping to do a web page with my new knowledge. You know poodles will be the topic.
My first lesson covered Filezilla, which I had with Beginners Workshop and the new EditPadLite, which is used to write the exercises and assignments. Below find all the lessons listed.
